Highlights: Overwhelming positive response from recipients in spite of the GTDC's resistance to using the word "hell" in an historic quote from the South's most hated Union general! GTDC had to revamp and expand their field teams to cope with the volume of responses received from this mailer.

Objective: Create a direct mailer to announce for sale the last 24 undeveloped lots at The Emerald, a planned single-home community.
Audience: Construction and building firms within a 100 mile radius of New Bern, NC
Highlights: Pails were hand-delivered personally to every builder and construction firm in a tri-county area. As the 24 lots for sale were the least desirable, turned that otherwise unattractive point into a positive feature with the client's special builder incentives, financing and multi-lot pricing. From January 1 through March 31 and from November 1 through December 31, every time a member of your organization or club plays one round of golf, a check for $10.00 will be sent to your group from Cypress Landing. Objective: Create a direct mailer to inform target not-for-profit organizations of a new fund-raising opportunity, making use of the seasonal slow periods on Cypress Landing's renown championship golf course.
Audience: local not-for-profit organizations within Pamlico County where Cypress Landing is located
Highlights: Compiled data base on all local qualifying organizations within Pamlico County. Mailer "tubes" were stuffed with shredded paper, a Cypress Landing golf ball placed on top, the announcement tied around the neck of the tube, then hand-delivered to the presiding officer of each organization on the mailing list.
